FBI Tools - Card Ban

Here are the instructions to create FBI rules for specific card numbers.

  1. Double check that the merchant account is assigned to the FBI Tools module.
  2. Log in as the merchant
  3. Go to FBI Tools > Filters > Card Ban tabs.

Creating "Reject" type Credit Card:

  1. Press the "Add Specific Card Number Rule" link.
       1.1 Name:  Enter a name
       1.2 Card Numbers:  Enter the credit card number
       1.3 Select the "Reject" action.
       1.4 Check the "Enabled" textbox.
       1.5 Click on the "Save" button to save your configurations.
    1.6 Go to the FBI Tools > Assign Rules and Filters tabs.

  2. Assign the rule to the preferred merchant account.

    Response for this use case:

Creating "Accept" types of Credit Card:

  1. Follow steps #1-3 (from above)
  2. Press the "Add Specific Card Number Rule" link.
       2.1 Name:  Enter a name
       2.2 Card Numbers:  Enter the credit card number(s)
       2.3 Select the "Reject" action.
       2.4 Check the "Enabled" textbox.
       2.5 Click on the "Save" button to save your configurations.
  3. Assign the rule to the preferred merchant account.
  4. Please note stat ‘Accept’ action does not mean that transaction’s status is successful.
    That means that the Gateway accepts transaction with specified card number and sends it to the processor.

    Response for correct card (4111111111111111):
