Why has my Void Declined?

If the First Data processor is being used, you may have an issue issuing voids if the void is performed more than 25 minutes after the original transaction. The transaction will decline and you may see this message:

 

333 (No previous transaction. The void or reversal transaction could not be matched to a previous (original) transaction. In the case of a pre-auth redemption, the corresponding locking transaction could not be identified.)

 

Please issue all voids within 25 minutes of the original transaction. If 25 minutes has passed you may issue a refund for the transaction after settlement.
